BRUCE STERN
Maryland Divorce, Corporate and Real Estate Attorney
Bruce Stern is an attorney and the principal of Stern & Associates. Mr. Stern received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles ("UCLA") in 1987 and his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1990. He is a member of the California, District of Columbia and Maryland Bars.
Prior to founding his own firm in 2002, Mr. Stern worked as an attorney for law firms in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. and the international tax and accounting firm, KPMG. Among other organizations, he is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
Mr. Stern's areas of concentration are corporate, family law, litigation and real estate. He is licensed to practice before State and Federal Courts in California, the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Mr. Stern is active in the Montgomery County community. He has served as a Junior Achievement volunteer teacher, coaches MSI and City of Gaithersburg sports teams and, in 2010, was a candidate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives' seat representing Maryland's Eighth Congressional District. In 2010, Mr. Stern was elected as an At-Large Member of the Montgomery County Republican Party Central Committee and serves on the Executive Committee of the Central Committee.
